Food photography with Paul Bloxham for Great British Food magazine
Posted on 12 April 2012 by Oliver SucklingAhhh food shoots, how we love them. Not only do you get the chance to create some truly mouth watering images, but if you're lucky you can eat the food too!
For this shoot Great British Food magazine asked us to travel over to Paul's restaurant, The Tilbury in Datchworth to create a retro themed series of photographs.
Paul is a fantastic chef and came up with a fun series of retro dishes for the recipes. Even having the langoustines sent down on a train from Scotland that morning so we could create the perfect scampi.
With garish 70's style props at the ready we set about creating a tasty series of food photographs that had a retro theme, but with bright modern lighting to ensure they would get stomaches rumbling across the country.
My favourite picture has to be the scampi, not only does it look great, but they tasted absolutely amazing!
